Gleim and ASA Knowledge Test Prep for Private Pilot Knowledge Test (The Written)

Gleim Private Pilot FAA Knowledge Test Prep is an excellent book to use for studying for your Private Pilot Knowledge Test! Clicking the title or image provides an affiliate link for which I receive a small commission, but I truly believe in this book for studying for your Private Pilot knowledge test because this is the book I used for my studying when trying to pass the Private Written!

In addition to using the book, you may find it to be helpful to use ASA’s Private Pilot Prepware App. The app allows you to practice questions on your phone or iPad on the go, and you can even create tests. The downside to this is the app does not have lesson chapters like the Gleim book does.

Sheppard Air

Sheppard Air is hands down the best FAA Knowledge Test prep software out there for pilots working toward earning their pilot certifications! Sheppard Air is only available for the Instrument Rating Written and above. Unfortunately, they do not have test prep software for Private Pilot.
